 Clean-up & Chili Cook-Off

A big thank you to all who braved the cold temperatures to help put Sevakeen to bed for the winter!  All the chores were done by lunchtime and everyone enjoyed the perfect lunch for a cold day: Chili!!  Thank you to all the chef's for bringing some awesome food!   


HalloweenParty 

The Halloween Party was fabulous, with approximately 100 in attendance!!  Everyone look great in their costumes and the kids loved the games and the Trick or Treating!  Thanks to all who helped out!  Be sure to check out the pictures in the Gallery!


Pumpkin Painting Party

Fall was kicked off with our annual pumpkin painting party!  Many creative designs were painted on the pumpkins.  Thanks to all who came out and to the committee for organizing.  

 

Corn Roast

What an awesome turn out for our Labor Day corn roast!  Over 100 people came out for this final event of the summer.  A big thanks goes out to the committee for putting together this Labor Day tradition.  As always the food and fellowship was awesome!  


Sevakeen Luau

The 3rd annual Luau was held on Saturday, August 12th.  The sun broke through the clouds just in the nick of time.  Many kids games were played, there was awesome music, and the day finished with the "Dock Party Dance-Off".  Congratulations to the kiddos from the 1st dock - the have some awsome dance moves!


Movie Night

 Saturday, July 22nd was our 2nd movie night of the summer! We had 28 people show up to roast marshmallows and hot dogs over the fire. The movie “Trolls” was shown and lots of popcorn enjoyed by all. Thanks to everyone who came out. In August, we will be having a Double Feature!  Be watching for more information!


4th of July Report 2017

4th of July 2017 was a big success! The day started off with a delicious breakfast at the concession stand then the fishing tournament began. Next, there was a bike parade with a decorating contest and then everyone staked out their sand pile for the sand castle contest! There were some awesome sand sculptures made this year. You could find everything from snowmen to Harry Potter to dragons!! After the sculpture judging, the kids games began. This year the games included a duck race, balloon toss, a three-legged sack race, the egg toss and the ever popular tug of war! Finally, the festivities wound down with a life size version of the game Hungry Hungry Hippos and the 3-on-3 basketball tournament. A big thank you to all who make this day possible, it's a truly special day at the lake!!  Check out all the pictures on the Gallery Tab!

Easter Party 

The Egg Hunt and party went off without a hitch. Everyone enjoyed a delicious breakfast, the Easter Bunny arrived and all the eggs were found!! Thanks to the committee for a great morning.
